A party where the art is the activity

Every Playday party is hosted in one of our studios and led by a teaching artist. The kids dive into a hands-on art project together — painting, sculpting, tie-dye, printmaking, sensory play — and everyone leaves with something they made.

The party runs two hours. We set up before you arrive, run the activity, and clean up when you leave. Parents get to be guests, not event managers.

Reach out with your preferred date and we will confirm availability and walk you through the deposit.

Common questions

The things parents ask before they book.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend reserving your date at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Weekend slots, especially 1 PM on Saturdays, fill up fast. Spring and fall dates go even faster.

How many guests can we have?

Up to 20 child guests are included in the base party. Adults attend free of charge and do not count toward the cap. Need more room? Ask your location about extended capacity options.

What ages is it for?

Our parties work best for ages 3 and up. The activity is adapted to the birthday child's age group — toddler-friendly sensory play for the youngest kids, more involved projects for the older ones.

Can we bring our own cake, food, and decorations?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own cake, cupcakes, food, and decorations. We provide plates, forks, and napkins. Outside catering is fine as long as it is pre-packaged or from a licensed vendor.

Do we need to bring art supplies?

No. Every supply, apron, and material is included. All you have to bring is the birthday kid.

What if it rains or something comes up?

Life happens. Reach out to your location as soon as you can — deposit and rescheduling policies vary slightly between studios, and we will work with you to find a new date.

How do we hold our date?

A deposit reserves the room and time slot. After you request a date we will confirm availability and send you the deposit link to lock it in.
